Transfixxx
Transfixxx is a sexual education and community outreach program dedicated to creating and providing resources around sex and pleasure, specifically to queer and transgender people with disabilities. Tragically, queer, trans, and disabled people are often excluded from standard sexual health education. In this ignorance, harmful stigmas arise, and individuals suffer. At a time when both trans and disabled rights are in direct jeopardy alongside national education as a whole, it is more important than ever for our community to establish new networks of education and care. The goal of Transfixxx is to support and empower our queer, trans, and disabled community members to have safe, pleasurable, affirming sexual experiences free from pain. Transfixxx methods of outreach include the Transfixxx Yourself zine series, which features simple-to-follow guides and tutorials for improving your health and pleasure, as well as a developing website https://www.transfixxxproject.com. which features audio and video formats for each zine, a constantly evolving resource guide, and the opportunity for visitors to contribute and preserve documentation of their own trans, queer, disabled joy, pleasure, and history within the site archive.
