My thesis explores the connection between ancient talismans, religious relics, and personal nostalgia, translating childhood beliefs into wearable artifacts. Inspired by historical amulets and reliquaries, my collection reinterprets these traditions through contemporary design, merging my past with deeply personal symbolism. I draw from ancient jewelry’s protective and sentimental functions, embedding personal objects and gemstones from family heirlooms into my pieces. The collection serves as a bridge between reality and mythology, of memory and imagination. Ultimately, my work explores how jewelry can tether us to the past while preserving a sense of wonder, reminding us to stay connected to the stories and symbols that shape us.
