I Think Of You On Beautiful Days
My project explores the tension between permanence and fragility, and how design can preserve fleeting moments in a tangible, lasting form. Drawing from personal family archives—childhood photos, letters, sports memorabilia—I translate these sentimental moments and artifacts into functional objects like engraved bats, wall hooks, and chairs. Using materials like wood and metal, I treat each piece not only as a utilitarian form but as a living archive. These objects invite presence with the past, offering a way to physically exist alongside memory. By embedding memory into function, allowing new memories to emerge through engagement with what came before. My work aims to blur the line between function and feeling, past and present.
